Guaranteeing years of excellence
We’re so confident in the quality of our steel doors that we back them with a 5-year guarantee on zinc powder-coated frames. This covers welded joint failures, ensuring your frames remain structurally sound for years to come. In addition, all locking mechanisms, hinges, and metal moving parts are covered by a one-year guarantee, provided they are maintained and used properly by you, our client.
To maintain its validity, any scratches, cracks, or defects must be reported within 24 hours of installation. No guarantee whatsoever is given against the failure of frames that have not been maintained correctly or installed incorrectly by contractors excluding Prestige Steel Doors. While we don’t cover cosmetic wear and tear (like handle scratches), breakage resulting from tampering/misuse, or condensation, we’re here to support you with expert advice.
Transparent pricing for your peace of mind
Our quotes are comprehensive estimates based on travel time, time on site, parking charges, client drawings, etc. These are refined through an in-person site survey, which is free within the M25 and £250 + VAT for projects outside the M25. A 10% deposit is required to secure your survey appointment.
While VAT is included in all our invoices and quotes, we exclude peripheral costs like old door removal or “making good” internal finishes. If VAT does not apply to you, please inform us via email as we will require written proof that your property is VAT exempt.
The supply-only price does not include fixings, and any defects must be reported to us immediately upon collection or, if delivery has been arranged, at the time of arrival. Delivery for supply-only orders is charged at £2.00 per mile from our headquarters.


Our payment terms: Build with certainty
Prices remain open for a maximum of 30 days from the date of quotation. Clients will be given confirmation of the total cost at the time of the order being placed.
Our payment terms are structured as follows:
- 10% deposit: Paid upon survey confirmation.
- 40% payment: Due on approval of the detailed drawings.
- 30% payment: Due on delivery to our depot.
- 20% payment: Final payment upon completion of the installation.
Should there be any additional costs due to unforeseen changes in specifications, products or services, these will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before proceeding. Prestige Steel Doors reserves the right to amend pricing to reflect any changes made. This proactive approach ensures that you remain in control of your project at every stage.
Fire-Rated doors for custom safety
While our fire specification doors are manufactured to meet rigorous 30-minute integrity tests, each door/screen can be personalised, making formal certification challenging. Instead, we can provide extracts from comprehensive fire test documents to serve as evidence of our standards. We always recommend that these extracts be shared with your building control or fire officer for approval prior to placing an order. The client bears the full responsibility to ensure the product’s suitability for their project needs.


Seamless installation, nationwide reach
All drawings will be shared with you, the client, for review and approval before moving into production. This ensures confirmation of all details, including sizing, design, colour, glass, and any other agreed-upon specifications. Lead times start after your second payment and signed drawings and other details.
Your site must be obstacle-free (no machinery, hoarding, or debris) and openings ready before our team arrives. Do note that unprepared sites incur additional reattendance fees. This is because we rely on the supplied measurements from you, the main contractor, or the builder post-survey.
All London and Surrey deliveries for supply or installation are standard. Site surveys include a single visit, with additional visits or locations beyond those specified incurring a charge of £2 per mile from our headquarters. Any specification changes requiring extra site surveys will be charged based on your location’s rate.

Once the production process begins – after the detailed drawings have been approved and all specifications confirmed – the total 40% payment becomes non-refundable. This policy ensures that we can continue to provide you with the highest quality product without interruption.
Any necessary refunds or adjustments due to subsequent changes are handled with the utmost care and fairness, following a transparent procedure that is clearly communicated from the outset.
